A good easy ride, especially when riding to Reed City, plenty of open fields... once you pass 19 mile rd. So sunblock is a must. But when you head south, starting in Big Rapids and ride towards Grand Rapids its much more fun and challenging, and I think a better experience. You hear more wildlife, and its easier on your sunblock. Provides plenty of shade to rest and cool off. Now I havent ridden past Stanwood yet, but from BR to Stanwood its a great time.
The complete White Pine Trail of which this only a 27mile segment is a scenic, fun and challenging trail if taken in its entirety. Trail heads just north of Grand Rapids and at Cadillac, MI. The length from end to end is 92 miles.
