Beautifully maintained rail trail with 3 access sites: Lumberjack Park, Van Wormer Road, and Stroebel Road. This trail is well shaded making it perfect for warmer weather rides. The trail passes through wooded areas, farm land, and the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge. There are viewing platforms, shelters and bridges along the trail providing plenty of opportunities to rest or enjoy the view.
The way point for this trail is wrong. This trail
Is not near Corunna it's nearly 25 miles from Corunna. This trail runs St Charles in to Saginaw Township. If you try to go to the waypoint it's the middle of a field in private property. The descriptions in reviews are correct it's a great rail trail.
Beautiful easy trail..
Very awesome trail and highly maintained. Not worth a very long drive, but if it's not to far from you I would highly recommend it.
Such a beautiful trail and so well maintained. Great for hot days as there is plenty of shade along the trail. Trailheads have beautiful landscaping and offer plenty of places to rest and enjoy the sites. Great bathroom facilities at Van Wormer Trailhead with running water.
