Awesome trail. Winter hike was beautiful
This is a great trail that allows you to see a few different types of scenery; meadows, forest & sand dunes. There is an uphill to the scenic view but it is worth it for the beautiful views. From the top you can see the sand dunes, Lake Michigan, the Manitou islands & if you are luck on a clear day South fox island. It is a beautiful hike. Driving through Onieda Point to get there is pretty too!
Easy to moderate hike. Great hike to an amazing view of Lake Michigan - only 0.6 miles. Well worth the walk. We hiked the meadow loop. Beautifully wooded hike with well marked trails.
Gradual slope, easy to moderate hike with beautiful view at the overlook. Very nice vista of Lake Michigan with great view of North and South Manitou Islands and South Fox Island.
Wonderful. Pretty cold (March) but absolutely stunning views.
Great hike and challenging xc-skiing!
Hiked from the parking lot up S Baush rd - never found the trail.
Ended up going back to the parking area and taking the out and back trail (easy) to the point.
The views we're fabulous! If we had more time I would have ventured down the dune to the water.
