IT IS NOT 25 MILE LOOP!!! There is a 3 mile and 2.5 MILE loop. The trails are one way but are not marked very well. on what is a hiking trail and which direction is correct.

Trails are not very technical. it would be good if you wanted to get your young kids into trail riding. It is more for hikers.

Great beginner to medium trail. Great people along the way. Was pretty busy, but it was a Saturday morning, so not unexpected.

At first glance from the entrance this appears to be a very pedestrian trail. It is however anything but. There are so many off shoots throughout the preserve. Trails seem to go every which way making it an expansive maze of pine forest, streams, and ponds.
This is a place where one should try to spend an entire day just exploring. You can really get the feeling that you are miles from anything.
It is not a difficult trail but there are section that can get your heart racing due to the inclines in the trail.
If you keep an eye out you'll find the wooden trail through the swamp.
All in all it is a great place that you do not have to be far from town to enjoy.

This is one of my new favorite places, it has a ton of hiking trails through lots of varied scenery. There are also around five miles of mountain biking trails with hills, roots and a log jump. There are several sandy spots.
