This is another local afternoon hike. The variability in the terrain makes this hike a little more interesting and fun than some other hikes. The route I took was along the end of the beaver pond , around the rock 'face' of the hill and then up and over the top. the trails are pretty well marked and relatively easy going. There is some climbing over rocks towards the top, but nothing difficult. The pond is interesting to explore, and there are additional trails that skirt around the shore. Access is via Woodside Dr as well as other locations. There is no designated parking area at Woodside Dr. but seems to be enough room for several cars along the roadside.
Easy walking, kind of pretty in areas, however map is not accurate so we got lost for a short period but as long as the sun is out you can figure how to get to the trailheads from that and car noise.
all trails are marked yellow, got lost for hours.
