Great 2 hour loop with varied terrain and many ups and downs
Great time, walking the dog while enjoying the beautiful Fells during a nice, warm fall day. Hard to beat.
Very close to the city, family and pet friendly walks.
The trail was nice, the view of the sunset from it was breathtaking, a bit disappointed with the cave, thought it would be bigger, but overall it was a pretty interesting and relaxing trail. I'd like to revisit it.
Great experience in terms of photography. Also, the perfect terrain to walk to the beat of your music while exploring through the woods.
It was a fun hike. Met some nice people. Climbed Wright's Tower and took in the 360 degree vista of fall foliage and bumper to bumper traffic on 93.
I went back again and followed other trails heading north and further west along the lower reservoir. Too bad a local park/MWRA authority came by to clear folks out from the trail around the reservoir. It was a beautiful day and the dirt road was a nice respite from some of the hillier and rockier sections.
Very pleasing to be so close to the city but to be Able to get away!
Great hike with the family, paths were very icy, but great trails all in all. Will be back to explore them all!
Great 2 hour loop through most of the elevated points in the southern part of the Fells. Varied terrain and many rock scrambles up to great views of the reservation and the surrounding communities.
