Sandy Pond Trail is a 3.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Lincoln, Massachusetts that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
Fairly monotonous trail around a lake. Trail mostly covered by leaves, no great views of the lake. Best thing about this trail is it passes through lathe Decordova Museum.
Fairly easy trail but very scenic and beautiful... Plus you get the extra bonus of the amazing sculptures at Decordova. My only issues were the lack of trail markers (although it was fairly easy to navigate many were ripped down or hard to find) and you cannot bring dogs. What is hiking without your favorite companion?!
Definitely worth a visit for a easy day hike!
