Beautifully paved trail perfect for running, biking, roller skating or hair walking. Starts over an old railway bridge and brings you through the farmlands in Hadley, MA and into Amherst. There are also a few tunnels and overpasses that are fun to skat through. There are places along the way to fill your water bottle and if you get hungry, the trail goes right behind Whole Foods and other little cafes and places to grab a bite. It's heavily trafficked and the folks who use the trail are usually very friendly. This is gorgeous in the fall for foliage views! Bring your insect repellent though!
Easy. Stroller-friendly, which is what I was after today. Directions were solid. Not the most picturesque, but felt safe and it was perfect for a straightforward walk.
Was recently on the trail. It didn't appear to get much use - and much maintenance. Some sections are being taken over by overgrowing vegetation on both sides narrowing the trail to essentially one lane. The pavement is still pretty good and very interesting vegetation/trees in the vicinity.
