Dinosaur Footprints Trail is a lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Holyoke, Massachusetts that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is best used from April until November.
A short trail parallels Route 5 northward from the entrance to the location of the dinosaur footprints. Easy walking. Imagine small herds of dinosaurs on the shore of a shallow tropical lake as you enjoy a real, up-close look at their fossilized prints, left in sandstone to spur our wonder.

Great educational opportunity! Bring your camera and kids on this very easy path to see dinosaur footprints. There are signs with information about the history of the area in both English and Spanish. Parking area is small and hard to see, it's on the side with the river. Watch out, the rock face with the footprints is very slippery when wet.
Can't qualify this as hiking more like an easy walk. Wood chip path to the dinosaur footprints. Perfect for little ones. For adults follow the path down to the tracks, cross the tracks and you'll be at the shore. Look up to the left for spectacular mountain views and to the right for river and pine trees.
