Cascade Falls Loop Trail is a 1.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Worcester, MA that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
A great hike if you'd like to take a step out of Worcester and experience nature close-by. The waterfall is gorgeous especially in Spring when wild flowers bloom along the trail. Many side trails allow this short walk to be turned into an afternoon hike. An old dump with interesting objects can be found in the woods on the opposite side of the loop from the falls.
This hike is a decent length for children. There are some steep climbs. Overall it is a rocky hike. I would not suggest jogging or running it. The waterfall was dry in August.
The hike was not very challenging. It should be rated "easy". The trail marked very well. There appeared to once be a water fall along the trail, but it has since dried out.
I can see why people have not posted pictures for this trail.... Because there is not much to post about
