Lost Pond Trail is a 4.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Kingsville, MD that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible from March until October.
Pros: Great hike, especially for young kids. We brought out 4 year old and 7 year old on the hike and made it down to the pot rocks and back with minimal complaining. Lots to see and explore, will definitely do again.
Cons: A bit crowded, and parking lot was jammed, I'd go again on a weekday to avoid the throngs.
Really pretty. Not super well marked and parts are really overgrown. I would have got lost without the app
Miles 2.5 to 3.5 were tight and had heavy growth. Rest was clear and easy. There is on right turn that 3 miles in that is not super clear and if your not paying attention you will blow past it.
Great hike. Lots of fun for 4 and 8 year old.
Beautiful. Prickers were overgrown and a little annoying.
Followed the blue trail to the north, took the first right and the trail eventually followed the river back to the starting point. Great hike.
Local favorite. Easy hike.
I went south and did a loop on the Lost Pond trail and finished at starting point. I will return and do the north trails and the opposite shore trails.
