Nice trail. Well traveled. Shady, mostly flat with nice scenery. Disappointing amount of trash on the trail hence the 3 stars.
Peaceful and quite. Some gorgeous spots - take in the scenery. Mostly shaded and well travelled trails with wide clearings. You can veer off the blue and at time stay very close to the shore.
I use to run this trail and it is peaceful and beautiful.
Great trail around the lake! Dogs loved it, as did I!
Could be cleaned up a bit, some inclines, but nice views and some shots of the creek- great trail overall highly recommend.
Nice trail could use a few more markers
Nice and a beaut
Rating should be increased from Easy to Hard. Trails need to be cleaned a little, but very nice nonetheless.
hiking and photography
It's a fantastic spot nice quiet and well maintained one of my favorite places to run
Great spring hike. Well worn trail. Lots of birds, heron, woodpeckers. Would definitely do it again.
It was a nice and easy hike around the lake
Long and mild
Great hike with the dog and views of the lake.
I've done this trail twice. It's very easy to walk..but the markings are a little confusing. The views are beautiful. The lake is amazing!! It's a great walk for the entire family.
Walked the Clopper Lake Trail on a very warm spring week day. Only a few other people were on the trail. Watched a pileated woodpecker search for insects in deadwood for quite awhile only a few feet away from where I stood and spent time watching a Great Blue Heron feasting on crayfish. Carried a few snacks that I enjoyed in one of the picnic shelters near the trail. Bathrooms at the picnic areas were not yet unlocked for the season.
