Hidden Valley is a 1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Quail Hills, Maryland that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
The wading spots on the river are GREAT for dogs, but the trail itself is pretty short and not well kept, so it's easy to lose our way and go off trail.
Amazing views. Great place to hike and take the dog to play in the stream.
My bfriend loved this spot& showed it to me. It was a bit of a hike back with the trail being pretty overgrown, but well worth it when we got there. Beautiful scenery& very relaxing& I loved the little waterfalls.
A little overgrown in parts, but a nice stroll.
It was amazing!!!
Great scenery, but good luck finding/staying on the trail. Small trailhead parking for about 8 cars. Trail runs along the river which is great for scenery. Some maps I have found show that the trail heads north and runs the ridge west-east for a return route; however, I was not able to pick up that trail. Blazes need help.
Short, easy hike on a trail to several access points along the Deer Creek. The trail seams like it is primarily used by those seeking to fish or swim in the creek.
