dogs on leash
Started at the point near Anne's playground, walked to the end close to downtown Bel Air. If you go that route it's about 8 miles there and back. Most of it was shaded and all of it was paved. Kids thought it was pretty boring but it was a good place to run or walk.
I run this trail daily the whole trail one way is under 4 miles
Easy, wide open walking path. concrete, dirt combo depending on which section. Definetely busy at times and definetely mixed usage. Dog friendly, kid friendly, bike friendly.
Perfect for a morning run!
Nice wide trail with a mix of paved, gravel, and dirt areas with moderate inclines throughout.
nice, but not really hiking
This trail is actually 2 separate trails. I believe it is in the works to connect them. Outstanding trail! I usually bike ride at the start off of route 924. It is just under 4 miles ending at Annie's Playground which is the best playground I've ever seen! A few hills and turns makes it a fun challenge on a mountain bike.
Great trail for walking/jogging. I wouldn't consider it a "hike". For youngchildren there is a fantastic playground at the southern end. There are 3 parking lots. I like to park in the middle and walk to one end and back first and then decide if I have enough time to walk to other half.
