Beautiful views and a great quick hike. Did this with my 6 year old son, 62 year old mother and 1 year old dog. Everyone loved it though for more experienced hikers it is quite easy.
Good hike with good payoff as views are sweet. Did this couple days ago with group of kids aged 5-11. Moderate elevation gain with mostly wood supported stairs and gaining to some granite steps to easy flat trail. Make sure to check out Balance Rock at too.
Not a lot of effort for an amazing payoff. The views from the Bubbles are spectacular. I got an early start and had the added benefit of being on the summit of South Bubble by myself...and with the striking image of a thunderstorm passing just to the south of the Cranberry Islands. Be sure not to miss Bubble Rock on top of South Bubble. This is definitely a can't miss for Acadia NP!
Moderate becomes hard with a 9 month strapped to your back, but well worth it.
I went from one of the trails halfway(ish) around Jordan Pond. Straight up, a little bit of a scramble, but really short and it made for a fun challenge
Beautiful view! Accurate to say this is a moderate hike. There were a few areas to get the heart rate up. Totally with the hike! Close to get to from Bar Harbor.
Nice views from the top. Easy enough for my 7 year old to make it up.
Moderate climb, with plenty of rocks to get over, especially near the top. Nice payoff at the top with pretty views.
Easy trail with a great view to look forward to at the top! This one is well documented in tour books, so is relatively short. great trail to get you warmed up for more strenuous Acadia adventures. Bubble rock at top always makes an interesting picture.
Beautiful views from the summit.
