Shackford Head Trail is a 3 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Eastport, ME that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Great hike. We hiked almost the entire loop, about 2.5 miles very hilly in some sections. It was foggy when we started, but it burned off and led to some awesome views. There is a fire and warning, so be aware. Tennis shoes, hiking boots, or something similar and long pants are recommended.
