Old Town House Park Trails is a 1.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near North Yarmouth, Maine that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, birding, and snowshoeing and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
The trails at Old Town House Park meander through wide, open fields, along the Royal River and through some riverside woodlands, and provide primarily easy walking opportunities. Begin at the kiosk by the main parking lot on Route 9. Formerly owned by Gillespie Farms, this 55 acre park was purchased by the town in 1997. Many people remember going to this location as children for a hay ride and to pick out their pumpkins for Halloween.
Great little walk, I like that it was field walking and walking in the woods. Great for all ages and fairly easy.
An oasis. My new favorite place. Also, great place to bring dogs as well.
great walk with a great little river and very dog friendly
Easy walk on well defined trails with a mix of trails to choose from. Fragrant balsam firs, open fields, river views and much more. Bring your dog as she/he will love it.
