Maple Spring Trails is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Mt Desert, ME that features beautiful wild flowers and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Very rooty and rocky in the part along stream. Hard to follow blazes in spots. Not the best way to hike to Sargent but accomplished as part of my loop. Would choose other trail up to Sargent if not for wanting to loop between several peaks.
