See review for Great Notch trail. The part along the pond is very scenic looking out over the water. Saw some loons and the mountain in the background was pretty. This part was mostly flat along the shore. There was a bridge to cross coming down the mountain that had a nice waterfall on it. It would tend to be buggy here on a warmer day. I would recommend a windy day or early Spring hike or fall for the color. Would be extremely warm in summer weather. I hiked it in June 9th and it was cool in the morning
