We hiked the little cove trail out and back for a total of 3.8 miles. 6 adults, one child in a pack, and a dog. Trail is Rocky and lots of tree roots but not too hard. The coast line is beautiful, the dog swam like crazy. Look for wild blueberries on the trail, they're delicious.
This trail is combination of Little Cape Point Trail , coastline and Mud Hole Trail. The trails change from green moss cover forest, rocky hilltop with Jack Pine, coastal raised bog, swamp with pitcher plant, and beautiful unspoiled rocky coastline. The coastline portion of the trail is difficult at points and not well marked. The distance is 4.75 miles.
