The Frog Pond Trail at Raymond Elementary is a family trail of easy to moderate terrain centered around a scenic nature pond. The Frog Pond Trail offers a short walk to a pond with easy access for the whole family that connects to a trail network extending into the woods. Picnic benches and learning platforms make this a great place to picnic.
As a prior entry stated...this used to be a great little short jaunt..for everyone. The dogs and I were looking forward to snowshoeing the few trails this winter. It is too bad; might as well change the name to just Frog Pond!
used to be our go-to trail for a quick run with the dogs. but, they've clear cut everything behind the pond and the trail system is destroyed. so very sad.
Cute, easy, good for small children
nice little trail for a short outing...any season. aside from the trail there is a murky pond with 2 lookout platforms, nice grassy surroundings,, a picnic table, and an exercise station.
This trail system seems to be developing. The south east loops are well marked with orange flagging and well traveled. The two north west loops appear to be a work in progress as I only saw flagged stakes where I think the trail will be. The picnic area at the pond is well worth a picnic lunch.
