Blueberry Ridge Trail is a 14.2 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Bethel, ME that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
Directions from North Fryeburg, ME: Travel north on SR 113 approximately 15 miles to historic Brickett Place. Travel past Cold River Campground and Basin Recreational Areas. Go 2/10 mile and turn right at the Brickett Place. Parking is available at the Bickford Brook trailhead. Begin on Bickford Brook Trail and hike about .7 mile.
Trail starts at historical buildings, easy to find and trail is very well marked and traveled. Rough terrain towards the top but the views are amazing, worth every bit of exhaustion.
This was a fun hike, mostly wooded. There is some scrambling and a couple of really nice scenic overlooks. Definitely bring bug spray and a camera.
