Nice little trail, good if you or your dogs need to stretch your legs. A very short trip on a dirt road right off of highway 140 or if leaving Kanopolis Lake you can get to it from highway 141 too. I live close by & my dogs just love going out there. There is poison ivy, make sure kids know what it looks like.
I was not too impressed. It's a very small park. I was able to walk the whole trail area in 15 min. The rocks formations are cool but I would suggest just looking at a picture online and save yourself the trouble of the dirt roads. There is one bench and one picnic table. Pit vaults available.
Return trip enroute out west. A nice break when traveling and nice rock formations. Well worth the side trip.
nice rock formations, nice place for a picnic......
As unique as the rock formations were, the trail didn't have too much to offer.
Nice for looking at beautiful rocks.
