This trail is great for walking, running or bike ride. I take it from Shawnee Mission Park all the way to Harold St in Olathe.
It's an easy paved trail but has some beautiful terrain.
More South access at Woodland rd and Northgate
Love running this trail. I feel secure and love the landscape as it goes along a creek, some out and open terrain, and into Shawnee Mission Park. Lots of bikes so make sure you stay to the left.
Took my six yr old daughter, had a blast! Did 12 miles. Well maintained, scenic always something to keep kids looking around the corner. Must do if doing kids.
A love this trail. You can access it from various points. There are a couple loops for shorter distances, but the 17 mile trail is all the way from the north end to the south end. Well maintained and always has enough traffic to feel secure. I walk it, but it seems like the majority of travelers are bikers.
Very nice trail in Lenexa, KS. Very well maintained, full of great vegetation, creeks, bridges and small loops. Great for biking, running and walking. The trail passes by a major train track, making it even more interesting. A must go, if around this area!
