Cedar River Wildlife Area Trail, Bremer County, Iowa is a 1.5 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Plainfield, IA that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The Cedar River Wildlife Area is better suited for net sweeping of insects rather than a walking or hiking trail. This trail to me was a bit overgrown and not well established. Nearly the entire trail was prairie land, lumpy & overgrown. However, it's great for insect study. The Cedar River Wildlife Area north of Plainfield Iowa is better suited for net sweeping of insects rather than a walking or hiking trail.
