The West Central Historical Trail is a 3 mile loop trail located near Fort Wayne, Indiana and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
The second in the series of hikes in the area of downtown Fort Wayne. This is a nice, simple walk through the west-central part of downtown Fort Wayne. This hike has fewer big buildings than the first hike in the series. It is in a more residential part of downtown. There are some very nice areas, along with some pretty run down areas. Keep an eye out for some of the houses, some of the old ones are practically castles. As with the first hike, there are information plates near many of the locations.
