Sugar Creek: From Thorntown Through Shades and Turkey Run State Parks is a 38 mile point-to-point trail located near Crawfordsville, Indiana that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for scenic driving and is accessible year-round.
The scenic drive if coupled with stops at the state parks, and/or local festivals, is a great destination. There are dozens of covered bridges in Parke County to view. The parks offer canoeing and fantastic hiking trails. This is a great area to vacation.
