One of my favorite trails in Indiana. Dog-friendly. My dog starts whining as soon as we turn in the entrance because he knows he gets to go swimming and some off-roading trails. Fire tower is accessible. Canoes/kayaks/paddle boats for rent at cheap rate. During the summer, it is jam packed! Also has concerts at the Lincoln Amphitheater during summer if you happen to be there around then.

Trail 1, and veered off to check out the fire tower. Beautiful scenery!

I love this place! Great scenery and easy going for the most part. The fire-tower is a great detour. The camping is nice too. Not to mention Lincoln was a total badass president.

Nice wide trails. Good places for a picnic lunch if desired. Two lakes in the park. Trails are relatively flat. There is a fire tower you can climb to the top and get good views of the surrounding area. The climb to the top of the fire tower is workout in itself.

Overall I loved this for several reasons. First there are several side trails that can be completed to see an old civil war camp, another that takes you down to the banks of the Ohio for some incredible views. Parts of this trail would also be really fun to run.

This is an overall easy going trail that can be completed by just about anyone. Plenty of wooded areas and some wildlife along the way. Also a great trail for running since it is well maintained.

This is a very nice Kept up trail. This trail is pretty easy and is great for the family. I this past year led about 20 kids on this trail and they all kept up nicely and was not to hard especially for younger kids. At Lincoln State Park their is other shorter trails that can be accessed and is great. You also get to see a lot of President Lincoln history and also is very easy to access to the Lincoln Boyhood National Park across the road. Besides trails their is also good camping for the family. This is a great family trail.
