The fam (wife, 12 y/o, 8 y/o) and I hiked trail 2 which is 5.1 mi. Im not in good shape and it was a piece of cake, I would almost classify this as easy. I wanted to do trail 3 also which adds a few more miles, but the fam werent feeling it. About half way, they were dragging ass, so I made some corn pancakes on the emberlit stove and I couldnt believe how much better everyones mood was on the way out!
Made the short loop nice trail will be back.
Nice trail. Not steep. Group of seven of us went out on the 2.1 mile loop using the Trail 2 shortcut. It was perfect morning activity.
Very hard not for beginners , but pretty view.
Nice little trail, not a 5 star nor expert to hike, like advertised. wooded switchback up climb a ridge and back. rainy times may be better with creek beds
Fantastic! Rugged and challenging, but well maintained, was not disappointed with this trail at all. Will definitely be going back!
Just wonderful. Rocks, waterfall, pine thickets and a host of wildlife. Came out at dusk and the deer were all around, leaving the forest just like me. Early spring, and perfect coverage.
