Nippersink Trail is a 1.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Round Lake, Illinois that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

A short woodchip trail winds through open oak groves. Extensive shoreline restoration efforts and improved fish habitats make Nippersink a great place to fish. Anglers can fish from shore or from two wheelchair accessible fishing piers. The lakes and streams here are open only for catch-and-release fishing. Live bait is permitted. You'll also find five picnic shelters here, four of which can be reserved for special outings. Gatherings of more than 25 people require a permit.
Great trail to get a few miles in.
Well I go there every week so it's great to do all kind of things like volleyball, parties, walks, and running!!!
