Cool place with Great! primitive tent sites on the eastern campgrounds - A decent way back into the forest for some nice peace and quiet. Just be aware site 2 and 3... and site 4 and 5 are connected really close to eachother. Site 1 pretty well isolated (that's where i stayed) and site 7 seems really well isolated way in the back. 6 and 8 are close to main trail. A trail exits out the back of that campground and goes all the way around crossing river road (sorta dangerously) and back up to the statue. I can tell these are rarely traveled trails cuz i ran into spiderwebs everywhere! was not for the faint of heart :P. The brochures and such will just mention the 50ft tall Blackhawk Indian statue. Which is impressive, but the view looking out from it is what was most amazing to me. If you do hike the trails beware that sometimes it shows straight trails when it's actually switchbacks down the hills or it will show switchbacks when it's actually a LONG set of stairs :)
