Lake Renwick and Budde Lake Loop Trail is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Plainfield, Illinois that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and birding and is accessible from August until February.
Nice trail to bike. The paved path is well taken care of and the gravel path around the bird sanctuary is compressed enough for my road bike. Very pretty trail.
Wanted to check this trail out as it's only 10 minutes from home. The trails were paved and gravel and walking was very uneventful. I I expected more of a hiking kind of trail. There are two beautiful lakes surrounding the trails which is a plus however scenic wise not much to look at unless you're there during the migration season. Lots of parking along with seating areas which is good for families.
Great place! Came at 11:45 not knowing it's only open 8am-noon on Saturdays. Workers really care about the trail. Awesome birds
I took the kids for a walk and they loved it. Beautiful scenery and tons of birds.
Fantastic trails and scenery
