Just a fun trail. Several branches off the main. Surprising park in the middle of the city. One side is the forest. The other track is by the Rock River.
Did a trail run here & loved it!
Muddy after the morning rain
The power of erosion has damaged the trail on the Rock River side, but it remains passable without too much difficulty. We hiked both sides at dawn on a day that broke cloudy. A light breakfast by the river was a great way to start the day.
Not too bad. A little slippery in some spots after rain.
This was fun! I accidentally left a review that said something about a gazebo, that was meant for maquocada caves! But this was fine to!
The was such a good hike! We took our dog and she loved it! When we went to the caves, they were all very nice. And if you decide to go, look for a gazebo and walk left for a while. You'll come across a little bitty stream so you cross it, and then there will be orange flags leading you up a hill. Once up the hill (it was a bit challenging) there is a perfect place to spitball and relax! From there just head left again and you'll be At the parking lot!
