An easy trail hike through a beautiful forest to an Alpine Lake A nice hike up a forested trail, past lovely Fourth Of July lake, then over a high ridge with great views of the Sawtooth range to the west, high peaks of the White Clouds and a prettylake below. Although this lake is a nice destination lake it is also strategic as a layover for a longer hike into the Chamberlain lakes.

I did this hike as a continuation of 4th of July Lake. It was pretty disappointing. More of a pond than lake in early July.

An easy continuation from smaller sized 4th of July Lake. A pretty lake backed by a long ridge.
