The St. Joe River Fly-Fishing (Idaho) is located near Mullan, Idaho. The trail is primarily used for fly fishing and is accessible from June until November.
I'm a fly fishing guide for a local shop in cda and I spend countless days on the joe. It is hands down the most scenic river in pacific northwest and the fishing will not let you down. The river is packed with aggressive feeding cutthroat and some big bull trout if you fish a streamer in the right place at the right time. If your new to the sport or if you just want the best all around experience possible I suggest getting a guide and nobody knows the joe better than the boys at joe roopes castaway fly shop. So swing by if you have questions or want to book your own fishing adventure!
i go up there evry year to fish and camp. the st joe has very nice river fishing a nice trail to hike just a good place all a round.
