Amazingly beautiful!!! We hiked it with two kids (ages 7 and 3). The three year old was in the backpack for 98% of the hike, but our seven year old did great. He was tired at the end. We took the boat back instead of hiking back.

We've hiked numerous trails across the west, and this one offered us some of the most epic views we've had the opportunity to experience. Along with hundreds of different butterflies, wild flowers, birds, beautiful trees and wild life.
If you don't feel like hiking back after a 7.5 mile adventure to the inlet, you can hop on the ferry boat and enjoy a beautiful ride back to the lodge.
This trail is EPIC! If you get the chance and are in decent shape, hike this trail. It's absolutely worth it!

Awesome scenery. Hiked to bench lakes one day. Hiked to Marshall lake another day. Breathtaking views. A must see.

I did a portion of this trail as an out and back hike. I started from the Redfish Lake TH and went to the first two Bench Lakes before turning around. It's a moderate hike, but the views are spectacular! About 10 miles RT.

Beautiful! We didn't hike this in it's entirety. Our dog wasn't up for it. Little Redfish is absolutely amazing. A favorite for sure. 4th of July and busy. Be prepared for temps in the mid 20's in the morning, even in July! Warms up nice in the afternoon. Great little lake to kayak as well. Many trails in the surrounding area that very from easy, moderate, difficult! Have fun! We did!
