English point is located in Hayden Idaho on Lancaster Rd. There are trails here for hiking only and for Bikes and Horse's. The hiking trails total about 6 miles if you complete the whole loop. There are several benches along the trail that offer views of Hayden lake in the distance. Very easy Trails
English Point Yellow Loop is an amazing trail. The trail is well developed and flat nearly the whole hike. It is mainly wooded but does have areas that look down on the beautiful Hayden Lake. It's a nice and simple trail but could be seen as boring to a more experienced hiker.
I jog on this trail quite frequently. It is a nice wide trail so its easy to pass people when jogging. does get really muddy and slick when its muddy so caution to that. Another bonus is that its not far from town at all.
Nice Trail. Very beautiful area. Careful is spring and fall of muddy/marshy areas. Very easy and good for kids and pets.
This is a great trail for runners. It has its easy points as well as its challenges. There are lots of wildlife and nature to see and it is awesome to see it while you are on a run. As with any trail, be careful of uneven ground though.
A really great trail for runners. Use cation though as there are many rocks and divots. In the fall and spring it can get very muddy as well. Often deer can be spotted.
super easy fun quick trail
A nice, quick trail. I also love how it feels like you are in the woods, even if it is pretty close to town.
Great for a stroll though the woods but a very easy trail. Good to take your dog here on a walk to help them release some energy. Fun for the whole family.
Great for trail running but maybe not the best for views. The foliage was lovely in Mid May though.
Nice little trail I use it for running multiple times a week. There are less people on this side vs the shorter side. There are not very many pretty sights, however it is a short drive that allows you to easily get out of the city.
multiple trails. red trail (easy) done today in less than an hour. plenty of benches to sit and birdwatch.
sort of lack luster, but a nice walk through the woods
Great trail, pretty easy with some great views on the lakeside. Different trail options depending on how far you want to go.
Easy trail not to far from town. Nice walk through wooded area. Some views of the lake. I probably wouldn't do it again but I'm pleased with the walk. A nice little escape.
Pretty, but very short and good for an easy stroll.
Great easy hike, had a picnic dinner on the outlook benches.
Fun, easy trail for little ones and the whole family. There are two different trails-East and West. Hiked the East side. Will be exploring the West side this weekend.
