Russian Fort Elizabeth State Park is a 0.6 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Waimea, Hawaii that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Dirty, rough road with very little appeal
This is not a trail but the ruins of an old rock fort (really just a pile of rocks) originally built in the traditional star shape. There are no buildings, no water and it is hot and boring. The only good thing is that it's visible from the road and a short walk.
