Mahaulepu Beach Trail is a 3.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Poipu, Hawaii that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round.
Directions from Poipu: Travel east on Poipu Road until it ends and becomes a dirt cane road. Continue traveling east on the cane road to the main cane haul road intersection and turn right. Here you will find the security stop where you will need to show identification and sign a waiver. The parking area for the beach is at the end of this road.
Easy trail with gorgeous views.
Hiked along the water and by the Poipu golf course. We passed by a cave and ended up on a secluded beach. Awesome trail.

Mahaulepu Beach is on a completely different island. This states the trail is in Kamuela, HI which is on Hawai'i Island, but Mahaulepu is on the island of Kaua'i.
