This trail is an extension from the State's Hau'ula Loop Trail. It connects Hau'ula and Waipilopilo ridges into a very manageable loop. The trail can be overgrown as Uluhe is prevalent in this area. Be prepared with long sleeves and pants. There are a number of steep sections and blow downs, as well as narrow spots that you will need to keep your focus on so that you don't accidentally step into a hole off the ridge. The views from the ridge are expansive - giving you views from as far as Kahuku to Laie to Kaa'awa. Some views of Kaipapau Gulch with high waterfalls (if it is raining).
