Fun trail it is pretty hard and even though it was rainy there was a lot of people on the trail with us. Majority of the trail is all uphill and parts where you literally have to climb over rocks. So so so much fun.

Great hike! I strongly suggest hiking up to watch the sunset from an Eno hammock!

Hiked it yesterday, the first section of the hike is a bit difficult but rewarding. They have seem to make it more wider on the trail is guided by a green Blaze on the trunks. The second section is rigorous and all uphill. Bring water and a extra layer because the peak (rock face) can be windy and cool. Temps were 53 on 2/17. Awesome vistas well worth the hike.

Perfect sunny and cool early February day. Lots of hikers but it was a fun climb, I liked that there's a few rock scrambles to get to the top. Summit is just an open grassy field with no views but I felt like I had to do it to say I climbed it. Hiked down to the edges with the views and had all the anxiety I could take for one day watching people try to position their friends closer to the edge for the perfect picture. Checked out The Lowers on the way back to the trailhead and watched some rock climbers.

Not sure where the river is but it's a decent hike. A little more vertical than you might care for in the middle. Wonderful views and a great location from Atlanta.
