This is a great hiking trail for beginners with a few places that more advanced hikers can venture to. The waterfalls are stunning and the sound of rushing water is always soothing. The trails are marked pretty well and seem to be kept clean most of the time. If you go across the bridge from the parking area, you can take another trail that will take you further into the woods. We didn't take this trail all the way, but instead, used it to access a place on the waterfall suitable for sitting. We had a picnic right there on the waterfall! With that being said, be careful on the rocks themselves as they can be rather slippery and the fall is not a short one should you get carried by the water.

This was an absolutely beautiful hike! A lot of up-and-down's and some steep climbs, but definitely worth it. The views of the falls and amazing and there are plenty of places to set a couple of chairs and just enjoy the scenery. My two sense: The trail just kinda dead ends near a subdivision after long climb, so when you get near the back of the trail and you see the loop, that might be a good time to just turn around... Otherwise you're in for a steep uphill climb with no reward, lol.

Contrary to what someone else said on here there are many wooden platforms which make nice places to sit and observe the waterfall and plenty of rocks if that better suits you. It's a well marked well maintained trail, impressive waterfall in this area, and a good place for the family.

Took a family day trip here and it was great! The trail is relatively easy but there are some hills and steep embankments. We geocached and hiked the falls trail and picnicked by the water. Will definitely be back for some camping!

I love coming here. I have been bringing my family here for years and now I'm an empty nester I still come. The trails are easy to follow. The scenery is better each time I go. Park rangers are helpful and informative. Love it!

The trails were very well marked and easy to follow. The waterfall was large and impressive but there's not really a good place to stop and sit to enjoy it. I would recommend going in the Fall when the leaves are changing, otherwise there's not much to look at scenery wise after you pass the main waterfall.

Not bad. Especially if you're already in the area. Great for family and dogs!

Nice trail with great views of the river. Be careful about trail markers though. There are several trails the branch off and come into the main trail. We ran into some really frustrated folks who thought they were following the trail but ended up in an adjacent neighborhood. The main trail follows the river; don't stray too far away from it or you'll end up a good way off the right path.

Nice trail in the High Falls State Park. It has some steps and is also kind of rocky in some areas. It follows along some nice waterfalls and the Towaliga river. There is about 100 foot decline from the top of the waterfall to the bottom. Lots of off-beaten trails. People are always climbing on the rocks and wading in the pools even though they are not supposed to. Really nice wildlife. There is a parking fee involved since it is a state park. Dogs are allowed.

Lots of people playing in the water regardless of all the warning signs. Trails were nice.
