Briarwood Trail is a 0.6 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Atlanta, Georgia that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
There is a small network of trails through the wooded area of Briarwood Park just west of the Pool and north of the new playground. These go through the woods and along the creek and are excellent short discovery nature trails for children.
Not a hiking trail. Within 10 minutes you'll walk the entire park. The playground is the most exciting thing about this "trail," and that's only if you are or have kids.
It's a tiny quarter mile cut threw from a neighborhood to the pool... not exactly what I would consider a hiking trail.
Literally a walk in the park.
