Blue Heron Nature Trail is a 0.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Atlanta, Georgia that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
A short and well maintained walking trail through the nature preserve. This trail is well maintained by the nature preserve. It loops around the creek using two bridges. Very good for small children.
Trail can be extended to be longer than shown in map here. Nothing very special, but a good hike with kids.
nice but small. not much to it. good little art work areas. fine for a small adventure day
Not much of a hike. It's a quarter-mile loop and you have to walk on the road on both ends to make the loop. There is a nice creek, and lots of signage marking the trees. There is also a turtle pond if you walk out of the parking lot towards Roswell Rd.
I wouldn't go out of my way to hike here again.
