This is a track from the bottom of amicacola falls to the top. From there up to the AT approach trail and back. Fun loop for all. Well marked and the falls are beautiful!
It's a must do! The waterfall is unbelievable!!!! Recommend going up the west stairs so you can look at the falls the entire way up and then descend on the east side trail which is a gradual downhill slope with no stairs thru the woods.
Have been several times over the past 5 years, it does seem to get more crowded each time. Stairs can be tough but very manageable. Gave 4 stars instead of 3- as the last time was there was towards the end of fall and had long, colorful views from the top. There are much better trails in north GA, but the falls are impressive.
great trail but it's always so crowded
Great hike. Stairs will get your heart pumping but plenty of places to stop and rest and sit down.
Definitely a workout with the stairs! Awesome view from the top. It was moderately crowded. Not my favorite hike; North Georgia has a lot to offer. I believe there is an AT extension here which I'd like to check out if I'm ever back in the area.
great views going up!
Good hike, plenty of steps!
Great little walk love the waterfalls
