Walt Disney World Area is located near Orlando, FL. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and birding and is accessible from October until April.
We took the kids to the four theme parks and the two water parks and stayed at the wonderful Animal Kingdom Lodge. Disney has made things more guest-friendly than what I remember from back in the day, with magic bands, fast passes and the ability to make reservations for many things well in advance. We were able to see most everything we wanted to, including many of the most popular rides with minimal wait times! We got a great workout walking around the parks all day for several days...and had a lot of fun too!
Over 3 days in Disneyworld and still didn't get to see it all, but we saw a lot of it... Staying in Wilderness Lodge, we visited the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach and then went to Universal Studios for a couple of days along with Cape Kennedy Space Center. Lots to do and planning is key. It's all about the kids, and a chance for you to be one too. There are hiking trails on the property and you will see gators, sand, mosquitoes, swamps, palms and canals. Better to get your exercise inside the park if you can stand the crowds. Have fun, enjoy!
