Paved and gravel trails. One area of challenging single track thru mangroves
Nice quiet paved trail with tree coverage. Beautiful boardwalks that go out through the mangroves and to the water. Stations with dog bags and trash cans placed along trails periodically.
This is one of the nicest parks in the Tampa Bay area. It's got paved portions, boardwalks over pretty tidal creeks and marshes, lots of birds and fish, and expansive views of Tampa Bay. The length is great for hiking or jogging and it looks awesome for hiking.
Didn't get very far.. Sunrise hike and swarms of mosquitos .. had to turn back. Try again another time, covered and doused in DEET.
Nice trail. Was able to go off and find a private beach area to let the dog swim. Interesting overlooks from the tower.
It was gorgeous! Easy to walk and really neat bridges!
Always good. Dog loves it! Bring water.
Beautiful hike.. I did almost all of it and saw so much wildlife it was amazing... Horseshoe crabs, lizards, snakes, crabs, fish and birds.. So much to see.. The bridges are amazing and I will definitely do this anytime I come to Bradenton
very nice place to go
would 5 star of there weren't speed limits. how am I suppose to know how fast I'm going?
Easy, flat hike. Weekends are crowded - bikes ok.
Great trail for families. Very clear, designated paths. We took our 3 children and dog around the 5 mile loop and it took us about 2 hours. Very beautiful! We've been twice on the weekends and it hasn't been overly busy at all. Plenty of benches to rest and they even have a drinking fountain for the dogs at the Victorian house entrance. Will be going here regularly.
I went here today for the first time. I can't say enough about how beautiful this park was. Amazing views. Well marked trail. Impeccable condition. It was a great place to take a leisurely hike.
Wide variety of native plant species and birds! So excited to see all the restoration progress that's been made and is still underway. Unfortunately my first time hiking 7mi. loop was this June, and the heat was extenuated by the the lack of shade present in the long stretches of open-canopy trail. There really are plenty of shaded benches along the trail, but really make sure you've got enough water- especially if you're bring the pooch
Good for kayaking also. But the bike trails are busy on the weekends.
Very nice and peaceful trails with good scenery. There are also some more advanced hidden trails that have very soft dirt and low trees. Overall a great place to go for a short ride or spend and afternoon
