At 345 feet above sea level this is the lowest state highpoint in elevation. The state has done a nice job erecting a maintained highpoint pull-off for highpointers in the small town of Lakewood in Florida's western panhandle.

Worth doing because it is a state high point even though their are buildings in Miami taller than this peak lol. But certainly nothing special. You drive right up to the highest peak, and then their are just a few short trails around the park that you could do to atleast say you hiked the highest peak. As expected, it is our least favorite high point hike yet. But I will say that Florida has done better then some other states and has a nice sign and monument talking about the peak.

As usual GPS maps have no clue where this place is exactly. It's off of 285 in fairly well marked Lakewood Park right off the road, about 750 feet south of Teder road east. Hope that helps

This high point is basically overlooking a field. You cannot tell your even on the highest point but would make a nice stop for a meal or something like that.

Worth doing because it is a state high point. Not strenuous or long, you actually drive up to the parking lot, the high point is right there and they have a little 1.5 mi. nature walk around it.
