Haney Creek Trail is a 1.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Jensen Beach, Florida that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
There are actually two tracks at this location. The nicer one it's the northern track that leads through quite a wide variety of landscapes from sandy Pine lined trails to grassy trails next to wetlands.
The second Trail goes to the south and is little more adventurous. It is not well marked once you cross the road however there is no fear of getting lost. There is a lot more wildlife on this track. My wife and I saw several snakes, couple of turtles and a Fox during our last visit here. Most of this track is very bushy and sometimes the snakes will be very close to your feet under some of the palmetto bushes. Most were black indigo snakes that we saw. Also saw a lot of butterflies in this section.
