Directions from Ormond Beach, FL: Travel north along North Beach Street and travel three miles to the park entrance. The nature trail begins from the museum parking lot.
This is an easy loop trail that starts and ends at the museum (closed for lack of funds) It is a nature trail that turns around at the vandalized statute of Chief Tomokie. One side of the trail is inland the other follows the Halifax River. Can be busy on weekends but few visitors on weekdays.
